I wrote the Dune series because I had this idea that charismatic leaders ought to come with a warning label on the forehead “May be dangerous to your health.”

The second book in the series, seems to be much closer to the idea described above. Although in my opinion the first book had a better story, this one is a deeper exploration of the themes behind the Dune saga.
