The sixth and final entry in Frank Herbert’s Dune series. Certainly not my favorite Dune book but it does provide a decent conclusion to the things set up in prior books.

With it’s allusions to the genre of cosmic horror and other plot elements, I found the story to be somewhat reminiscent of Mass Effect 3.

Even though this is the last Dune book by Frank Herbert, the end also lends itself to further expansion. There are more books by his son, Brian Herbert and some other guy, which I will probably read at some point but not right away.
